The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived with his companions, and the polytheists said, "He is coming to you while the fever of Yathrib has weakened them." So the Prophet ﷺ commanded them to jog briskly during the first three rounds and to walk between the two corners. Nothing prevented him from ordering them to jog briskly during all the rounds except his concern to spare them.
حدثنا سليمان بن حرب حدثنا حماد هو ابن زيد عن أيوب عن سعيد بن جبير
قدم رسول الله ﷺ وأصحابه فقال المشركون إنه يقدم عليكم وقد وهنهم حمى يثرب فأمرهم النبي ﷺ أن يرملوا الأشواط الثلاثة وأن يمشوا ما بين الركنين ولم يمنعه أن يأمرهم أن يرملوا الأشواط كلها إلا الإبقاء عليهم
