When Uthman finished his ablution, he said, "Shall I tell you a hadith that I would not have told you were it not for a verse in the Book of Allah? I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, 'No man performs ablution well and then prays a prayer except that he is forgiven for whatever sins occur between it and the next prayer until he prays it.'"Urwa said, "The verse is 'Indeed, those who conceal what We have sent down of clear proofs' [Baqarah 2:159]."
عن إبراهيم قال قال صالح بن كيسان قال ابن شهاب ولكن عروة يحدث
فلما توضأ عثمان قال ألا أحدثكم حديثا لولا آية ما حدثتكموه سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول لا يتوضأ رجل يحسن وضوءه ويصلي الصلاة إلا غفر له ما بينه وبين الصلاة حتى يصليها قال عروة الآية {إن الذين يكتمون ما أنزلنا من البينات}
