Abu Waail reported,

I came to Shayb. (In another chain) Qabisa narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Wasil, from Abu Waail, who said:I sat with Shayb on the chair inside the Kaabah, and he said, "Umar sat in this very spot and said, 'I had resolved to leave nothing of yellow gold or white silver inside it without distributing it.'"I said, "But your two companions did not do that."He replied, "They are the two men whose example I follow."

عن أبي وائل قال

جئت إلى شيبة ح و حدثنا قبيصة حدثنا سفيان عن واصل عن أبي وائل قال جلست مع شيبة على الكرسي في الكعبة فقال لقد جلس هذا المجلس عمر رضي الله عنه فقال لقد هممت أن لا أدع فيها صفراء ولا بيضاء إلا قسمته قلت إن صاحبيك لم يفعلا قال هما المرءان أقتدي بهما
