The Prophet ﷺ was brought some meat that had been given as charity to Barirah. He said, "It is charity for her, but a gift for us."Abu Dawud said, Shuba reported to us from Qatada, who heard Anas relate this from the Prophet ﷺ.

أن النبي ﷺ أتي بلحم تصدق به على بريرة فقال هو عليها صدقة وهو لنا هدية وقال أبو داود أنبأنا شعبة عن قتادة سمع أنسا عن النبي ﷺ
