He related that the Prophet ﷺ sat one day upon the pulpit, and we sat around him. He said, "Among the things I fear for you after I am gone is what will be opened up to you of the splendor and adornment of this world."A man asked, "Messenger of Allah, can good bring forth evil?"The Prophet ﷺ remained silent, and it was said to the man, "What is the matter with you? You speak to the Prophet ﷺ and he does not answer you?"We then noticed that revelation was descending upon him. He wiped the sweat from his brow and asked, "Where is the questioner?" It was as though he was praising him. Then he said, "Good does not bring forth evil. What grows in springtime kills or nearly kills, except for the grazing animal that eats only of green herbage. It eats until its flanks are swollen, then it faces the sun, drops its dung, urinates, and returns to graze again. This wealth is sweet and green. How excellent a companion it is for the Muslim when he gives from it to the poor, the orphan, and the wayfarer," or as the Prophet ﷺ said. "But whoever takes it without right is like one who eats and is never satisfied, and it will bear witness against him on the Day of Resurrection."
حدثنا معاذ بن فضالة حدثنا هشام عن يحيى عن هلال بن أبي ميمونة حدثنا عطاء بن يسار أنه سمع
يحدث أن النبي ﷺ جلس ذات يوم على المنبر وجلسنا حوله فقال إني مما أخاف عليكم من بعدي ما يفتح عليكم من زهرة الدنيا وزينتها فقال رجل يا رسول الله أويأتي الخير بالشر فسكت النبي ﷺ فقيل له ما شأنك تكلم النبي ﷺ ولا يكلمك فرأينا أنه ينزل عليه قال فمسح عنه الرحضاء فقال أين السائل وكأنه حمده فقال إنه لا يأتي الخير بالشر وإن مما ينبت الربيع يقتل أو يلم إلا آكلة الخضراء أكلت حتى إذا امتدت خاصرتاها استقبلت عين الشمس فثلطت وبالت ورتعت وإن هذا المال خضرة حلوة فنعم صاحب المسلم ما أعطى منه المسكين واليتيم وابن السبيل أو كما قال النبي ﷺ وإنه من يأخذه بغير حقه كالذي يأكل ولا يشبع ويكون شهيدا عليه يوم القيامة
