I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Give in charity, for a time will come upon you when a man will walk about with his charity and the one he offers it to will say, 'Had you brought it yesterday, I would have accepted it from you, but today I have no need for it.'"
حدثنا علي بن الجعد أخبرنا شعبة قال أخبرني معبد بن خالد قال سمعت
سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول تصدقوا فسيأتي عليكم زمان يمشي الرجل بصدقته فيقول الرجل لو جئت بها بالأمس لقبلتها منك فأما اليوم فلا حاجة لي فيها
