I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Give in charity, for a time will come upon you when a man will walk about with his charity and find no one to accept it. The man approached will say, 'Had you brought it yesterday, I would have accepted it, but today I have no need for it.'"
حدثنا آدم حدثنا شعبة حدثنا معبد بن خالد قال سمعت
سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول تصدقوا فإنه يأتي عليكم زمان يمشي الرجل بصدقته فلا يجد من يقبلها يقول الرجل لو جئت بها بالأمس لقبلتها فأما اليوم فلا حاجة لي بها
