The Prophet ﷺ said, "Hasten with the funeral procession. If the deceased was righteous, you are sending them on to good. If they were otherwise, it is an evil that you are casting off your shoulders."

عن النبي ﷺ قال أسرعوا بالجنازة فإن تك صالحة فخير تقدمونها وإن يك سوى ذلك فشر تضعونه عن رقابكم
