The Prophet ﷺ would pray two units of prayer. If I was awake, he would speak with me, otherwise he would lie down.I said to Sufyan, "Some narrate it as the two units of the dawn prayer."Sufyan replied, "That is the same thing."
حدثنا علي بن عبد الله حدثنا سفيان قال أبو النضر حدثني عن أبي سلمة
أن النبي ﷺ كان يصلي ركعتين فإن كنت مستيقظة حدثني وإلا اضطجع قلت لسفيان فإن بعضهم يرويه ركعتي الفجر قال سفيان هو ذاك
