Abu Hurairah reported,

He was narrating in his storytelling, mentioning the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "A brother of yours does not utter obscenity," meaning by that Abdullah bin Rawaha, who said:Among us is the Messenger of Allah, reciting His Book, when the radiant light of dawn breaks forth. He showed us guidance after blindness, so our hearts are certain that whatever he says will come to pass. He passes the night keeping his side away from his bed, while the polytheists are weighed down in their sleeping places.Aqeel followed him in narrating this. Zubaydi said, Zuhri informed me, from Saeed and Araj, from Abu Hurairah .

حدثنا يحيى بن بكير قال حدثنا الليث عن يونس عن ابن شهاب أخبرني الهيثم بن أبي سنان أنه سمع

أبا هريرة رضي الله عنه

وهو يقص في قصصه وهو يذكر رسول الله ﷺ إن أخا لكم لا يقول الرفث يعني بذلك عبد الله بن رواحة وفينا رسول الله يتلو كتابه إذا انشق معروف من الفجر ساطع أرانا الهدى بعد العمى فقلوبنا به موقنات أن ما قال واقع يبيت يجافي جنبه عن فراشه إذا استثقلت بالمشركين المضاجع تابعه عقيل وقال الزبيدي أخبرني الزهري عن سعيد والأعرج عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه
