Anas bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would go without fasting during a month until we thought he would not fast any of it, and he would fast until we thought he would not break his fast at all. There was no time at night you wished to see him praying except that you would find him praying, nor sleeping except that you would find him sleeping.Sulayman and Abu Khalid al-Ahmar followed him in narrating this from Humayd.
