He asked the Prophet of Allah ﷺ.Ishaq informed us, saying Abdul-Samad reported to us, saying, "I heard my father say, Husayn narrated to us from Abu Burayda, who said, Imran bin Husayn, who suffered from hemorrhoids, narrated to me, saying,"I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about a man praying while seated."He replied, "Whoever prays standing, that is best. Whoever prays seated receives half the reward of one who prays standing, and whoever prays lying down receives half the reward of one who prays seated."
حدثنا إسحاق بن منصور قال أخبرنا روح بن عبادة أخبرنا حسين عن عبد الله بن بريدة
أنه سأل نبي الله ﷺ و أخبرنا إسحاق قال أخبرنا عبد الصمد قال سمعت أبي قال حدثنا الحسين عن أبي بريدة قال حدثني عمران بن حصين وكان مبسورا قال سألت رسول الله ﷺ عن صلاة الرجل قاعدا فقال إن صلى قائما فهو أفضل ومن صلى قاعدا فله نصف أجر القائم ومن صلى نائما فله نصف أجر القاعد
