Abu Salama reported,

I saw Abu Hurayrah recite "When the sky is split asunder" and prostrate during it. I said, "Abu Hurayrah, didn't I just see you prostrate?"He replied, "Had I not seen the Prophet ﷺ prostrate at it, I would not have prostrated."
