Zuhri reported,

I said, "Your brother Abdullah bin Zubayr did not do that. When he prayed in Madinah he prayed only two units, like the dawn prayer."He replied, "True, but in that he departed from the sunnah."Sufyan bin Husayn and Sulayman bin Kathir corroborated him, reporting from Zuhri, concerning reciting aloud.
