We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when the sun was eclipsed. The Prophet ﷺ stood up, dragging his cloak, until he entered the mosque, and we entered with him. He led us in two units of prayer until the sun became clear again.Then he ﷺ said, "The sun and the moon do not eclipse for the death of anyone. So when you see them eclipsed, pray and supplicate until what afflicts you is removed."
حدثنا عمرو بن عون قال حدثنا خالد عن يونس عن الحسن
كنا عند رسول الله ﷺ فانكسفت الشمس فقام النبي ﷺ يجر رداءه حتى دخل المسجد فدخلنا فصلى بنا ركعتين حتى انجلت الشمس فقال ﷺ إن الشمس والقمر لا ينكسفان لموت أحد فإذا رأيتموهما فصلوا وادعوا حتى يكشف ما بكم
Bukhari included the hadiths of Hasan narrated from Abu Bakra, among them, the hadith on the eclipse, the hadith "may Allah increase your eagerness, but do not do it again," the hadith "a people will not succeed who entrust their affairs to a woman," and the hadith "this son of mine is a master." Hasan is only narrated from Ahnaf from Abu Bakra.
Al-Hafiz said in the introduction to Fath al-Bari, volume 2, page 114, I say, Bukhari is known to have been strict about matters like this. Bukhari narrated the hadith of the eclipse through several routes from Hasan, some of which he cited as suspended reports. Among what he cited as suspended in this regard is the report of Musa bin Ismail, from Mubarak bin Fadala, from Hasan, who said, "Abu Bakra informed me."This is his basis for including the hadith of Hasan, and it is his answer to those who denied that Hasan heard from Abu Bakra, relying instead on the affirmation of those who affirmed it. If his reliance is on the narration of Mubarak bin Fadala, then it is a weak reliance, because Mubarak says in more than one hadith, on the authority of Hasan, "Imran bin Husayn narrated to us," while the companions of Hasan do not say that.It appears that, along with this, his reliance is on Hasan's explicit statement of having heard directly in the hadith, "This son of mine is a leader."
