Ayesha said to me, "By Allah, your two parents were among those who responded to Allah and the Messenger after injury had befallen them."
قالت لي عائشة: أبواك والله من الذين استجابوا لله والرسول من بعد ما أصابهم القرح.
Muslim narrated it in the Virtues of the Companions (2418-51) through several routes from Hisham, from his father, who said, "Ayesha said to me," and then he related it. In one version he added, "meaning Abu Bakr and Zubayr."
