I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the courtyard of the Kaabah, clasping his hand around his knees like this.
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ بفناء الكعبة محتبيا بيده هكذا.
Bukhari reported it in the Book of Seeking Permission (6272), from Muhammad bin Abu Ghalib, from Ibrahim bin Munzir Hizami, from Muhammad bin Fulayh, from his father, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who related it.Bukhari said, "Al-ihtiba with the hand is al-qurfusa. Al-ihtiba means that a person draws his legs up to his stomach with a garment that gathers them together with his back."
