Umm Ayub reported,
She informed him that the Prophet ﷺ would visit them, so they prepared food for him containing some of these vegetables, but he disliked eating it. He said to his companions, "Eat it, for I am not like any of you. I fear that I may offend my companion."

أخبرته أن النبي ﷺ ينزل عليهم، فتكلفوا له طعاما فيه من بعض هذه البقول فكره أكله، فقال لأصحابه: كلوه، فإني لست كأحدكم إني أخاف أن أؤذي صاحبي.
Tirmidhi (1810), Ibn Majah (3364), Imam Ahmad (27422), Ibn Khuzayma (1671), and Ibn Hibban (2093) all narrated it through the route of Sufyan bin Uyayna, who said, Ubaydullah bin Abu Yazid narrated to us, from his father, from Umm Ayub, and he mentioned it. Ahmad added, "meaning the angel," that is, Jibreel 
. Tirmidhi said, hasan sahih gharib.I say, its chain is hasan because of Abu Yazid, the father of Ubaydullah bin Abu Yazid, the freed client of the family of Qarith, whose son was the only one to narrate from him. Ibn Hibban and Ajli both deemed him trustworthy, and the story took place in the house of Abu Ayub, so in this case there is no harm in accepting Abu Yazid's narration, since it agrees with the story.
