I have never seen anything more beautiful than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. It was as if the sun were moving across his face. And I have never seen anyone walk more swiftly than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. It was as if the earth folded itself up for him. We would exhaust ourselves trying to keep up with him, while he showed no sign of effort at all.
ما رأيت شيئا أحسن من رسول الله ﷺ، كأنما الشمس تجري في وجهه، وما رأيت أسرع في مشيته من رسول الله ﷺ، كأن الأرض تطوى له، إنا لنجهد أنفسنا وإنه لغير مكترث.
Ibn Hibban (6309) narrated it, and this is his wording, via Amr bin Harith. Tirmidhi in his Sunan (3648) and in Shamail (116), and Ahmad (8943, 8604) narrated it via Ibn Lahia, both of them from Abu Yunus Salim bin Jubayr, the freed slave of Abu Hurairah, that he heard Abu Hurairah say... and then he related it. Its isnad is sahih. Tirmidhi said, "A gharib hadith." This is likely due to Ibn Lahia, but otherwise Amr bin Harith al-Misri, who is trustworthy, corroborated him.
