When the Kaaba was being built, people were carrying stones, and the Prophet ﷺ was carrying them along with them. He took his garment and placed it upon his shoulder, when a voice called out to him, "Do not uncover your private parts." So he threw down the stone and put his garment back on ﷺ.
لما بنى البيت كان الناس ينقلون الحجارة، والنبي ﷺ ينقل معهم، فأخذ الثوب فوضعه على عاتقه، فنودي: لا تكشف عورتك، فألقى الحجر، ولبس ثوبه ﷺ.
Abdul-Razzaq narrated it in Musannaf (1105), and from him Ahmad (23794) and Hakim (4/179) narrated it, from Mamar, from Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khuthaym, from Abu Tufayl, and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khuthaym, for his hadith is hasan. Abu Tufayl is Amir bin Wathila bin Abdullah bin Amr al-Laythi. He was born in the year of Uhud, and he saw the Prophet ﷺ and lived a long life until he died in the year one hundred and ten. He was the last of the companions to die, as stated by Muslim and others, and his hadith is counted among the mursal narrations of the younger companions.
