The Messenger of Allah ﷺ is described in the Gospel as neither harsh nor coarse, nor one who shouts in the marketplaces. He does not repay evil with evil, but rather pardons and forgives.
إن رسول الله ﷺ مكتوب في الإنجيل لا فظ ولا غليظ، ولا صخاب في الأسواق، ولا يجزي بالسيئة مثلها، ولكن يعفو ويصفح.
Ibn Saad (1/363) and Ishaq bin Rahawayh (1610, 1611) narrated it, and Hakim graded it sahih (2/614), all of them through routes from Ayzar bin Hurayth, from Ayesha, who said... [and then narrated what was mentioned]. Hakim said, "Sahih according to the standard of the two Sheikhs, though they did not narrate it."Ayzar, with a fatha on the first letter and a silent ya, bin Hurayth Al-Abdi, was narrated from by Muslim alone, not Bukhari, and he is trustworthy.
