The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You were shown to me in a dream on three nights. The angel brought you to me wrapped in a piece of silk and said, 'This is your wife.' I uncovered your face, and there you were. So I said, 'If this is from Allah, He will bring it to pass.'"
قال رسول الله ﷺ: أريتك في المنام ثلاث ليال، جاءني بك الملك في سرقة من حرير، فيقول: هذه امرأتك، فأكشف عن وجهك، فإذا أنت هى، فأقول: إن يك هذا من عند الله يمضه.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Marriage (5078) and Muslim in the Book of the Virtues of the Companions (2438), both of them through Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it, and the wording is Bukhari's.
