Anas reported that the Prophet of Allah ﷺ would visit all his wives in a single night, and at that time he had nine wives.
أن نبي الله ﷺ كان يطوف على نسائه الليلة الواحدة، وله يومئذ تسع نسوة.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Ghusl (284), from Abdul-Ala bin Hammad, who said, Yazid bin Zuray told us, who said, Saeed told us, from Qatada, that Anas bin Malik told them, and he related it.The way to reconcile his statement "eleven" with his statement "nine" is that the nine were wives, while two were concubines, and they were all together with the Prophet ﷺ at one particular time. Otherwise, the number of the Prophet's ﷺ wives was greater than that across different periods. Here now are the names of his ﷺ wives.
