My family sent me to Umm Salama with a cup of water, in which there were some strands of the Prophet's ﷺ hair. Whenever someone was afflicted by the evil eye or some other ailment, they would send their vessel to her. I looked into the small container and saw a few reddish hairs.
أرسلني أهلي إلى أم سلمة بقدح من ماء، وفيه شعر من شعر النبي ﷺ، وكان إذا أصاب الإنسان عين، أو شيء بعث إليها مخضبه، فاطلعت في الحجل، فرأيت شعرات حمرا.
