The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in to visit me while I was so ill that I had lost consciousness. He performed ablution, and they poured some of the water from his ablution over me, and I regained consciousness.
دخل علي رسول الله ﷺ وأنا مريض لا أعقل، فتوضأ، فصبوا علي من وضوئه فعقلت.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on wudu (194), and Muslim narrated it in the chapter on inheritance (1616:8), both from the hadith of Shubah, who said, Muhammad bin Munkadir told me, he said, I heard Jabir bin Abdullah say, and he related it.
