He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew back the curtain while his head was bandaged during the illness in which he died, and he said, 'O Allah, have I conveyed the message?' three times. Nothing remains of the heralds of prophethood except the true dream, which the righteous servant sees or which is seen for him.'"
قال كشف رسول الله ﷺ الستر ورأسه معصوب في مرضه الذي مات فيه فقال: اللهم هل بلغت؟ ثلاث مرات- إنه لم يبق من مبشرات النبوة إلا الرؤيا، يراها العبد الصالح أو ترى له.
Muslim narrated it in the book of Prayer (479:208) from Yahya bin Ayub, who said, Ismail bin Jafar narrated to us, Sulayman bin Suhaym informed me, from Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Mabad bin Abbas, from his father, from Ibn Abbas, and he related it.Sufyan also narrated it from Sulayman bin Suhaym, adding to it, "Indeed, I have been forbidden to recite the Quran while bowing or prostrating. As for ruku, glorify the Lord greatly in it, and as for sujud, strive hard in supplication in it, for it is fitting that you be answered."His saying "qaman" means "deserving" and "worthy."
