I used to spend the night with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, bringing him water for his ablution and tending to his needs. He said to me, "Ask."I said, "I ask for your companionship in Paradise."He asked, "Or anything other than that?"I replied, "That is what I want."He said, "Then help me to grant you that by performing many prostrations."
كنت أبيت مع رسول الله ﷺ، فأتيته بوضوئه وحاجته، فقال لي: سل. فقلت: أسألك مرافتك في الجنة. قال: أو غير ذلك؟ قلت: هو ذاك. قال: فأعني على نفسك بكثرة السجود.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Prayer (489), from Hakam bin Musa Abu Salih, who said, Hiqal bin Ziyad narrated to us, he said, I heard Uzai say, Yahya bin Abu Kathir narrated to me, Abu Salama narrated to me, Rabia bin Kaab narrated to me, and he mentioned it.
