A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "Messenger of Allah, what are the two things that make Paradise or Hell certain?"He replied, "Whoever dies without associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise, and whoever dies associating anything with Allah will enter the Fire."
أتى النبي ﷺ رجل فقال: يا رسول الله، ما الموجبتان؟ قال: من مات لا يشرك بالله شيئا دخل الجنة، ومن مات يشرك بالله شيئا دخل النار.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Iman (93) through several routes from Abu Muawiya, from Amash, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, and he mentioned it. He also narrated it through another route from Abu Zubayr, from Jabir, with the same wording.
