The Prophet ﷺ married me when we were both in a state outside of ihram, at Sarif.
تزوجني النبي ﷺ ونحن حلالان بسرف.
Abu Dawud (1839), Ahmad (26815), Ibn Hibban (4137), and Ibn Jarud (445) all narrated it from the hadith of Hammad bin Salama, from Habib Shaheed, from Maymun bin Mihran, from Yazid bin Asam, from Maymuna, and I have mentioned it.There has been disagreement over whether the chain is connected (mawsul) or disconnected (mursal). Hammad bin Salama connected it from Habib bin Shaheed and narrated it as connected, while others narrated it from Habib bin Shaheed without mentioning Maymuna. The narration of Muslim confirms that it is connected, but Daraqutni concluded that the disconnected version is more likely correct. Al-Ilal (15/262–263).
