The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are people who will come out of the Fire after being burned in it, except for the round areas of their faces, and then they will enter Paradise."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن قوما يخرجون من النار يحترقون فيها إلا دارات وجوههم حتى يدخلون الجن.
Muslim reported it in the Book of Faith (191:319), from Hajjaj bin Shayr, who said, Abu Ahmad Zubayri narrated to us, who said, Qays bin Sulaym Anbari narrated to us, who said, Yazid Faqir narrated to me, who said, Jabir bin Abdullah narrated to us, and he mentioned it.His saying, "darat" (rings/circles) is the plural of darah, which refers to what surrounds the face on its sides. Its meaning is that the fire will not consume the circle of the face because it is the place of sujud, as stated in other hadiths, "except the places of sujud."
