Whenever a group brought their charity to the Prophet ﷺ, he would say, "O Allah, send blessings upon them." Ubayy brought him his charity, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, send blessings upon the family of Abu Awfa."
كان النبي ﷺ إذا أتاه قوم بصدقة قال: اللهم صل عليهم فأتاه أبي بصدقته فقال: اللهم صل على آل أبي أوفى
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Military Expeditions (4166), and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Zakat (1078:176), both through the route of Shuba, from Amr bin Mura, who said, Abdullah bin Abu Awfa narrated to us, saying, and he related it.
