He said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ walked with them to Baqi al-Gharqad, then sent them off and said, "Set out in the name of Allah." He also said, "O Allah, help them," meaning the group he had sent to Kaab bin al-Ashraf.
قال مشى معهم رسول الله ﷺ إلى بقيع الغرقد، ثم وجهم وقال: انطلقوا على اسم الله وقال: اللهم أعنهم يعني النفر الذين وجههم إلى كعب بن أشرف.
Ahmad (2391), Tabarani (11/222), Bazzar (Kashf Astar 1801, 1802), and Hakim (2/98) all narrated it from the hadith of Muhammad bin Ishaq, who said, "Thawr bin Yazid narrated to me, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas," and he mentioned it.Hakim said, "This is a gharib sahih hadith."I say, its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Ishaq's explicit statement.
