Ayesha reported,

Ayesha reported that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina, Abu Bakr and Bilal fell ill with fever. She said, "I went in to see them and asked, 'Father, how are you feeling? And Bilal, how are you feeling?'"Whenever the fever took hold of Abu Bakr, he would recite,"Every man is greeted by his family in the morning, yet death is closer to him than the strap of his sandal."And when the fever lifted from Bilal, he would raise his voice and recite,"Will I ever spend a night again in a valley with idhkhir and jalil grass around me? Will I one day come down to the waters of Majannah? Will Shamah and Tafil ever appear before my eyes?"Ayesha said, "So I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and told him about it."He said, "O Allah, make Medina as beloved to us as Mecca, or even more so. Make it healthy for us, bless us in its sa and its mudd, and remove its fever, sending it to al-Juhfah."
