On the night the Prophet of Allah ﷺ was taken on the night journey, he entered Paradise and heard a faint sound from one of its sides. He asked, "Jibreel, what is this?"Jibreel replied, "This is Bilal, the muadhdhin."When the Prophet of Allah ﷺ returned to the people, he said, "Bilal has succeeded. I saw such and such for him."Then Musa met him and welcomed him, saying, "Welcome to the unlettered Prophet."He asked, "Who is this, Jibreel?"Jibreel replied, "This is Musa
."He went on, and Isa met him and welcomed him.He asked, "Who is this, Jibreel?"Jibreel replied, "This is Isa."He went on, and a venerable, awe-inspiring elder met him and welcomed him and greeted him with peace, and all of them had been greeting him with peace. He asked, "Who is this, Jibreel?"Jibreel replied, "This is your father, Ibrahim."Then he looked into the Fire and saw a people eating carrion. He asked, "Who are these, Jibreel?"Jibreel replied, "These are the ones who consume the flesh of people."He also saw a red-skinned, blue-eyed, curly-haired, disheveled man, the kind whose appearance struck you when you saw him.He asked, "Who is this, Jibreel?"Jibreel replied, "This is the slaughterer of the she-camel."When the Prophet ﷺ entered Masjid al-Aqsa, he stood to pray, then turned and found all the prophets praying together with him. When he finished, two cups were brought, one on the right and the other on the left. One contained milk and the other honey. He took the milk and drank from it, and the one who came with the cup said, "You have chosen the natural disposition."
Ahmad narrated it (2324) from Uthman bin Muhammad, and I heard it myself from him, who said, Jareer narrated to us, from Qabus, from his father, from Ibn Abbas, and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Qabus, who is the son of Abu Dhubyan. There is disagreement about him, except that his hadith is hasan when he does not contradict others or bring forth objectionable reports, and the individual parts of this hadith have many corroborating witnesses. As for his saying "al-wajs," it means a faint sound.
