He heard the Prophet ﷺ, when his uncle was mentioned in his presence, say, "Perhaps my intercession will benefit him on the Day of Resurrection, so that he will be placed in a shallow part of the Fire that reaches his ankles, causing his brain to boil."
أنه سمع النبي ﷺ وذكر عنده عمه فقال: لعله تنفعه شفاعتي يوم القيامة، فيجعل في ضحضاح من النار يبلغ كعبيه يغلي منه دماغه.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Virtues (3385), and Muslim in the Book of Faith (210), from the hadith of Layth bin Saad, who said, "Ibn Hadi told us, from Abdullah bin Khabab, from Abu Saeed," and he mentioned it. In another version, "his brain boils from it."
