The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Last night I saw myself at the Kaabah. I saw a man of brown complexion, the finest brown-skinned man you could ever see, with hair flowing down to his shoulders, the most beautiful locks you could ever see. He had combed his hair, and it was dripping with water. He was leaning on two men, or on the shoulders of two men, making circuits around the House. I asked, 'Who is this?' It was said, 'This is the Messiah, son of Mary.'" The hadith continues.
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: أراني الليلة عند الكعبة، فرأيت رجلا آدم كأحسن ما أنت راء من أدم الرجال، له لمة كأحسن ما أنت راء من اللمم قد رجلها، فهي تقطر ماء متكئا على رجلين أو على عواتق رجلين، يطوف بالبيت، فسألت من هذا؟ قيل: هذا المسيح ابن مريم… الحديث.
Malik narrated it in "The Description of the Prophet" ﷺ (2), from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, and he related it.Bukhari narrated it in "Clothing" (5902), and Muslim in "Faith" (169: 273), both by way of Malik, with the same wording. In a version reported by both of them, "His hair fell between his shoulders, straight, with water dripping from his head..." the hadith continues.Bukhari narrated it in "The Hadiths of the Prophets" (3440), and Muslim in "Faith" (169: 274), both of them by way of Musa bin Uqba, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, and he related it.
