Abu Hurairah reported,
The Prophet ﷺ said, "The recitation of scripture was made easy for Dawud 
. He would order his mounts to be saddled, and he would finish reciting the entire scripture before his mounts were saddled. And he would eat only from the work of his own hand."

عن النبي ﷺ قال: خفف على داود عليه السلام القرآن، فكان يأمر بدوابه فتسرج، فيقرأ القرآن قبل أن تسرج دوابه، ولا يأكل إلا من عمل يده.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapters on the prophets (3417), from Abdullah bin Muhammad, who said, Abdul-Razzaq narrated to us, Mamar informed us, from Hammam, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.What is meant by "Quran" here is that which is compiled and recited. What is intended by it in this context is the Psalms given to Dawud , whose number in the existing Torah is one hundred fifty psalms. Qatada alluded to this when he said, "We used to relate that the Psalms consisted of one hundred fifty surahs, all of them exhortations and praise, containing neither lawful nor unlawful rulings, neither obligations nor set punishments." See Fath al-Bari (6/455) and Bidayah wan-Nihayah (2/307).What is not meant by it here is the familiar Quran known to this nation, which was revealed to our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in the Arabic language. As for the Psalms of Dawud , they were in the Hebrew language.
