Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Musa was a modest man who kept himself covered. No part of his skin would be seen, out of his modesty. So some of the Children of Israil offended him, saying, 'He only covers himself this thoroughly because of some defect in his skin, either leprosy or a swelling or some other blemish.' Allah wished to clear Musa of what they said. So one day he went off alone, placed his clothes on a rock, and bathed. When he finished, he came toward his clothes to take them, but the rock ran off with his garment. Musa took up his staff and chased the rock, calling out, 'My garment, rock! My garment, rock!' until he came upon a gathering of the Children of Israil. They saw him naked, the finest of Allah's creation, and Allah cleared him of what they were saying. The rock then stood still, and he took his garment and put it on. Then he set about striking the rock with his staff. By Allah, there are marks on that rock from his blows, three or four or five of them."That is what is meant by His words, "You who believe, do not be like those who offended Musa, and Allah cleared him of what they said, and he was honored in Allah's sight" [Ahzab 33:69].

عن أبي هريرة قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن موسى كان رجلا حييا ستيرا، لا يرى من جلده شيء استحياء منه، فآذاه من آذاه من بني إسرائيل فقالوا: ما يستتر هذا التستر إلا من عيب بجلده إما برص وإما أدرة، وإما، آفة، وإن الله أراد أن يبرئه مما قالوا لموسى، فخلا يوما وحده فوضع ثيابه على الحجر، ثم اغتسل فلما فرغ أقبل إلى ثيابه ليأخذها وإن الحجر عدا بثوبه، فأخذ موسي عصاه، وطلب الحجر، فجعل يقول: ثوبي حجر، ثوبي حجر، حتى انتهى إلى ملإ من بني إسرائيل فرأوه عريانا أحسن ما خلق الله، وأبرأه مما يقولون، وقام الحجر، فأخذ ثوبه فلبسه، وطفق بالحجر ضربا بعصاه، فوالله إن بالحجر لندبا من أثر ضربه ثلاثا أو أربعا أو خمسا فذلك قوله: {يأيها الذين ءامنوا لا تكونوا كالذين ءاذوا موسى فبرأه الله مما قالوا وكان عند الله وجيها}.
