Salama bin Akwa reported,

The Prophet ﷺ passed by a group of men from Aslam who were holding an archery contest.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shoot, sons of Ismail, for your father was an archer. Shoot, and I am with the sons of so-and-so."One of the two teams then lowered their hands and stopped shooting.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "What is the matter with you? Why are you not shooting?"They replied, "Messenger of Allah, how can we shoot when you are with the other side?"He said, "Shoot, and I am with all of you."

عن سلمة بن الأكوع قال

مر النبي ﷺ على نفر من أسلم ينتضلون فقال رسول الله ﷺ: ارموا بني إسماعيل، فإن أباكم كان راميا، ارموا وأنا مع بني فلان قال: فأمسك أحد الفريقين بأيديهم فقال رسول الله ﷺ: ما لكم لا ترمون؟ فقالوا: يا رسول الله نرمي وأنت معهم قال: ارموا وأنا معكم كلكم.
