The Prophet ﷺ said, "On the night I was taken on the night journey, I met Musa ." The Prophet ﷺ then described him, saying he was a tall man with wavy hair, as though he were one of the men of Shanuah. He continued, "And I met Isa." The Prophet ﷺ described him as a man of medium height, ruddy in complexion, as if he had just emerged from a bathhouse. He said, "And I saw Ibrahim, may the blessings of Allah be upon him, and I am the most resembling of his descendants to him."He continued, "Then I was brought two vessels, one containing milk and the other wine. I was told, 'Take whichever you wish.' So I took the milk and drank it." It was then said, "You have been guided to the natural way," or "You have chosen the natural way. Had you taken the wine, your nation would have gone astray."
Bukhari related it in the Hadiths of the Prophets (3394), and Muslim in Faith (168: 272), both from the hadith of Mamar, from Zuhri, from Saeed bin Musayab, from Abu Hurairah, who related it. His saying, "rajil al-ras," with the jim vowelled as i, means someone with wavy hair.
