Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Nuh will come forward with his nation, and Allah the Exalted will ask him, 'Did you convey the message?'He will reply, 'Yes, my Lord.'Then Allah will ask his nation, 'Did he convey it to you?'They will answer, 'No, no prophet ever came to us.'Allah will then ask Nuh, 'Who can bear witness for you?'He will say, 'Muhammad ﷺ and his nation.'So we will testify that he indeed conveyed the message. That is the meaning of His statement, may His mention be exalted, "And thus We have made you a just community that you may be witnesses over the people" [Baqarah 2:143]. And al-wasat means the just."

عن أبي سعيد قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ: يجيء نوح وأمته فيقول الله تعالى: هل بلغت؟ فيقول: نعم أي رب فيقول لأمته: هل بلغكم؟ فيقولون: لا، ما جاءنا من نبي. فيقول لنوح: من يشهد لك؟ فيقول: محمد ﷺ وأمته، فنشهد أنه قد بلغ وهو قوله جل ذكره {وكذلك جعلنكم أمة وسطا لتكونوا شهداء على} [البقرة: ١٤٣] والوسط العدل.
