Iyad bin Himar reported,
The Prophet ﷺ reported, narrating from his Lord 
, that He said, "I created My servants all inclined toward the truth, but the devils came to them and turned them away from their religion. They forbade them what I had made lawful for them and commanded them to associate with Me that for which I had sent down no authority…"

Muslim narrated it in the Book of Repentance (2865) through several routes from Muaz bin Hisham, who said, my father narrated to me, from Qatada, from Mutarrif bin Abdullah bin Shikhir, from Iyad bin Himar Majashi, and he related it in full.
