The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, along with Abu Bakr and Umar, met him, meaning Ibn Sayyad, on one of the roads of Medina.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "Do you bear witness that I am the Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Do you bear witness that I am the messenger of Allah?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I believe in Allah, His angels, and His books. What do you see?"He answered, "I see a throne upon the water."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You see the throne of Iblis upon the sea. And what else do you see?"He replied, "I see two truthful ones and a liar," or "two liars and a truthful one."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The matter has been confused for him. Leave him alone."
لقيه-يعني ابن صياد- رسول الله ﷺ وأبو بكر وعمر في بعض طرق المدينة فقال له رسول الله ﷺ: أتشهد أني رسول الله؟ فقال هو: أتشهد أني رسول الله؟ فقال رسول الله ﷺ: آمنت بالله وملائكته وكتبه. ما ترى؟ قال: أرى عرشا على الماء، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: ترى عرش إبليس على البحر. وما ترى؟ قال: أرى صادقين وكاذبا أو كاذبين وصادقا فقال رسول الله ﷺ: لبس عليه دعوه.
