The Prophet ﷺ said, "The sun and the moon will be wrapped up on the Day of Resurrection."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: الشمس والقمر مكوران يوم القيامة.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of the Beginning of Creation (3200), from Musaddad, who said, Abdul-Aziz bin Mukhtar told us, Abdullah Daanaj told us, Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman told me, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Takwir means folding and gathering up, and what is meant is that it will be rolled up and cast aside, so its light will disappear. Fath al-Bari (6/298).Abdullah Daanaj is Abdullah bin Firuz Daanaj, and his title means "the one knowledgeable in the language of the Persians."
