The Prophet ﷺ reported that Allah said, "The son of Adam denied Me, though he had no right to do so, and he insulted Me, though he had no right to do so. As for his denial of Me, it is his saying that I will not bring him back to life as I first created him, yet the original creation is no easier for Me than bringing him back. As for his insult, it is his saying that Allah has taken a son, while I am the One, the Eternal Refuge. I have not begotten, nor was I begotten, and there is none equal to Me."
Bukhari related it in the tafsir (4974), from Abu Yaman, from Shuayb, "Abu Zinad told us," from Araj, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.Abuse (al-shatm) means describing someone with what entails deficiency, as stated by Ibn Hajar in Fath al-Bari (6/291).
