A man said to the Prophet ﷺ on the day of Uhud, "What do you think, if I am killed, where will I be?"He replied, "In Paradise."The man threw aside some dates he was holding in his hand, then fought until he was killed.
قال رجل للنبي ﷺ يوم أحد: أرأيت إن قتلت فأين أنا؟ قال: في الجنة فألقى تمرات في يده ثم قاتل حتى قتل.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Military Expeditions (4046), and Muslim in the Book of Leadership (1899:143), through the route of Sufyan (who is Ibn Uyayna), from Amr (who is Ibn Dinar), who heard Jabir bin Abdullah, and he related it.
