The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The martyr has six privileges with Allah. He is forgiven at the first gush of his blood, he is shown his place in Paradise, he is protected from the punishment of the grave, he is kept safe from the greatest terror, he is adorned with the garment of faith, he is married to the wide-eyed maidens of Paradise, and he is granted intercession for seventy of his relatives."
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: للشهيد عند الله ست خصال يغفر له في أول دفعة من دمه، ويرى مقعده من الجنة ويجار من عذاب القبر، ويأمن من الفزع الأكبر، ويحلى حلة الإيمان ويزوج من الحور العين، ويشفع في سبعين إنسانا من أقاربه.
Ibn Majah (2799) narrated it from Hisham bin Ammar, who said, Ismail bin Ayyash told us, Buhayr bin Saad told me, from Khalid bin Madan, from Miqdam bin Mad Yakrib, and he related it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Ismail bin Ayyash, for his narration is hasan when he narrates from the people of his own region, the Levantines, and Buhayr bin Saad is a trustworthy narrator from Homs. We have already discussed this in the Book of Funerals, in the chapter on what has been reported that the martyr is not tested in his grave.
