The Prophet ﷺ said regarding the captives of Badr, "Had Mutim bin Adi been alive and then spoken to me concerning these vile ones, I would have released them to him."
أن النبي ﷺ قال في أسارى بدر: لو كان المطعم بن عدي حيا، ثم كلمني في هولاء النتنى لتركتهم له.
