The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered his companions to fight, and one of them shot an arrow. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This man has earned Paradise."When he ordered them to fight, they said, "Messenger of Allah, we will not say what the Children of Israil said, 'So go, you and your Lord, and fight. We will remain sitting right here' [Maidah 5:24]. Rather, go forth, you and your Lord, and fight. We are with you both, fighting alongside you."
أمر رسول الله ﷺ بالقتال، فرمى رجل من أصحابه بسهم فقال رسول الله ﷺ: أوجب هذا. وقالوا حين أمرهم بالقتال إذن يا رسول الله لا نقول كما قالت بنوإسرائيل{فاذهب أنت وربك فقتلا إنا ههنا قعدون} [سورة المائدة: ٢٤] ولكن اذهب أنت وربك فقاتلا إنا معكما من المقاتلين.
Ahmad narrated it (17641, 17645, 17646), as did Fasawi in al-Marifa wal-Tarikh (2/349-350), and Ibn Abu Asim in al-Jihad (162), all of them through routes from Hasan bin Ayub Hadrami, who said, Abdullah bin Nasih Hadrami narrated to me, saying, Utba bin Abd narrated to me, and then he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Hasan bin Ayub Hadrami, for he is one whose hadith is hasan, and he is among the men of al-Tajil. As for Abdullah bin Nasih Hadrami, there is disagreement over whether he was a companion. Ibn Hajar mentioned him in the first section under the letter Ayn in al-Isaba, and Ajli said, "He was a Syrian follower, trustworthy." Abu Naeem said, "His companionship is not established as sound."As for Nasih, it is spelled with a nun and two undotted letters, according to the more correct view, as Ibn Hajar stated in al-Isaba (6/397).
