Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

I heard Umar say from the pulpit, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, 'Do not exalt me as the Christians exalted the son of Mary. I am only His servant, so say, the servant of Allah and His Messenger.'"

عن ابن عباس قال

سمعت عمر يقول على المنبر: سمعت النبي ﷺ قال: لا تطروني كما أطرت النصارى ابن مريم، فإنما أنا عبده فقولوا: عبد الله ورسوله.
